Surf Cup® and College Surf Cup® tournaments are considered by many to be the world's best youth soccer tournaments. World Class referees from around the world, many of whom are FIFA referees and USSF National referees, take part in the tournament each year. Only the finest referees will be extended an invitation to participate.
For Surf Cup® and College Surf Cup® , invitations are first extended to past participating referees in good standing. Once we know how many of the past participants will be returning, the tournament referee assignor will then determine how many "new" applicants can be invited. Generally speaking for the Surf Cup® Olders weekend and the Surf College Cup® during Thanksgiving, only FIFA, USSF National, USSF State 1s & 2s, some USSF Emeritus, and some USSF Grade 7 referees are extended invitations.
